The House Cleaning Adventure

Not many places would I post pictures of my completely cluttered and unorganized mess of a house, but I decided to do a few before and after pictures of the house cleaning that took me 1 week to complete. After getting married and quickly moving to another state and back again, our house had seen better days after I moved home. Here are a few pictures of the transformation.

This is our spare bedroom/collection of all junk room. This room became the catch all over the last year and got to the point, after I got moved home, that you could barely open the door. This is the after, much improved, still our storage room, but at least you can walk, and people can actually stay with us again! The living room. Where do I even start. I have loved that entertainment center in the back since I first saw it. Niles dad made this and I love love love it, but when the flat screen TV joined our house last year, it wouldnt fit in. So it became my mission to somehow get that TV to work with the entertainment center. And I did!We can even open the curtains now, because there is no glare on the TV anymore! I took one section and moved it to the dining room, flipped the other section upside down and then had PLENTY of room for the TV....rearranged the furniture and VOILA!
That crooked chair with the pink blanket....that is my favorite chair that I always talk about and Love so much! Our bedroom....gasp. This room...AHHHH. The closets were completely full with our wedding gifts. When I cleared my closet to move, that was the only place where they would fit, and that is where they ended up. My mission was to clear them out, pack them up and have a closet again.....got that accomplished too! I did a little laundry too ;)The Kitchen: Just needed a little TLC. I cleaned everything, including the cupboards and reorganized everything. I also cleaned out the fridge and the stove and the microwave which was VERY scary!
The dining room: It wasn't too bad, was just a nice place for things to get put when we unloaded the trailer. The futon had seen better days. It had been moved 5 times, so our dog, Garrett got a new dog bed with the cushion and the frame met the dumpster.
